Liftoff Imminent

London The UK is hoping to anchor its position as the prime location for European small-satellite launch services as it looks toward a first in-country liftoff by the end of this summer. Six payloads are scheduled to be onboard Virgin Orbit’s initial LauncherOne flight from the UK’s Spaceport Cornwall facility, planned for September.
