Washington—First high-energy astronomy observatory spacecraft mission, initially planned as a total X-ray survey flight, has been modified to a mission that will incorporate a significant amount of spacecraft pointing. Scientists believe the change will greatly enhance the understanding of new X-ray sources the spacecraft is expected to discover.
