Rolls Hush Kit

Rolls Royce (1971) is developing what it calls a hush kit to reduce noise levels of its Spey turbofan engines currently in use on BAC-111, Hawker Siddeley Trident, Fokker F-28 and Grumman Gulf-stream 2 civil transport aircraft. Noise suppression kit will include intake duct lining, bypass duct lining, accoustically-lined jetpipe and a fluted jet-mixing exhaust silencer.
