CAPTAIN MACMILLAN presented this short paper before the Royal Aeronautical Society to show some of the more salient points on which the “art” of flight is dependent. He showed that the time of development of this “art” could be materially shortened by an adoption of a mental-cum-practical method of flight instruction, and Strongly recommended that it be universally used.
