The Los Angeles Races One Year After
MORE than 200,000 people paid admission to the 1928 National Air Races and Aviation Exposition held at Mines Field, Los Angeles, an average of about 25,000 people daily for the nine days during which the show lasted, and it was estimated that a total of approximately 3,000,000 people viewed the aerial events from points of vantage outside the field proper.
